A new retail fit-out project is always exciting for us to work on, as well as being a period of great anticipation for our client. A complete retail fit-out involves designing, building, and installing a store’s entire internal structure and fittings, working only with the “bare bones” of a brand new or de-fitted space and which often incorporates only the basic existing internal framework.

Retail Hair Salon De-Fit

Vacating retail and commercial tenants are responsible for removing all fittings and fixtures, and restoring their space to its original state at the end of their lease. This process, known as a commercial de-fit, “make-good”, or “strip-out”, brings the property back to a “blank slate” status for the next tenant to fit-out as required for their own purposes.
